Confirm your computer and testing environment meet these requirements before starting your exam.
Review Before Beginning
Before logging in, ensure you meet the following requirements to help avoid technical issues, retaking the exam, and potential associated fees.
Traditional desktop or laptop only. Mobile devices are not permitted.
Updated Windows 10+ or macOS 11+.
Minimum upload speed of 1 Mbps and download speed of 2 Mbps. Avoid tethering and mobile hotspots.
Virtual Machines and Remote Desktop software are not allowed for candidates testing for EWFA, IWFA, NPMA PRO, or NLAR.
A working webcam and microphone are required.
Use an updated version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Have a valid photo ID available before beginning your exam.
Restart Before Your Exam
We strongly recommend restarting your computer before taking your exam. After restarting, do not open any applications other than the browser required for your exam.
